...Maiko ships you!
I got this idea from an interesting conversation over at Flaming Knives. The discussed topic was fetishes (i.e. Mai's legs. That we've never seen.) Some were saying that they'd like to see her in a maid uniform or a Victorian type thing. The first thing that came to my mind was a pin-up. And retro. Then Regina Spektor. Thus, Soviet Mai was born. It's kind of that classic, cold war feel. Yeah. I think it's pretty dang sexy. Also, it's fitting to the Fire Nation, considering that "everything is a propaganda machine; even the grocery store." She's supposed to be on a Fire Nation ship. ;D
Yeah. It's possible another one of these is coming. I like it bunches. My sister contributed again. Yay her!

with congrats on his twentieth birthday. He was, I think, the first person I met who shipped Maiko and has been a huge supporter of my art from the beginning. He is a constant reminder of why I love the ship and why I continue to create pieces about it. Thanks, buddy.
